Outstanding Ofsted Report

As many of you know, we were inspected by Ofsted in the penultimate week of last term. I am delighted to be able to share with you the fantastic news that Epinay school continues to an OUTSTANDING school! Our Ofsted report is now finalised and will be emailed out to you, it will also be on the Ofsted website in the next week or so!

What a fantastic first year we have had in our new building, our inspection grading is the cherry on the cake after the recent success of gaining the national careers kite mark, awarded the family first award and Healthy school award, Head teacher of the year award (north of England) short listed for 2 awards at the love South Tyneside award, Hope receiving the Bethany Cairns award, Liam and Alex having their playground designs on Park plaques across the borough as well as being Tyne and Wear Panathlon winners!

A big thank you to the staff team for all their efforts, what a team of brilliant professionals, and of course a big thank you to all our special young people who were simply amazing.
