Letter to parents/carers – whole school information

Dear Parent / Carer

Whole school information

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all parents / carers for their continued support during the pandemic. The last few weeks have been very challenging in school, with high levels of staff and pupil absence. We have tried our upmost to ensure the school was kept open and education continued. We only had to close the school to a small amount of classes for one day.

Staffing levels are almost back to normal and we hope this will continue next week.

From Monday 31 January 2022, we will go back to all pupils coming into school in full uniform each day. Pupils are to bring their PE / Enrichment kit with them to school on the days these are needed. If you are unsure what day your child has PE or Enrichment, please contact your child’s pastoral teacher for this information.

As a reminder, our school uniform is black trousers or skirt, white polo shirt and black jumper or cardigan. Black shoes are to be worn. If you have a prior arrangement with me that your child can wear uniform different to the specified list, that arrangement will continue.

If pupils are not in full uniform on Monday, pastoral teachers will ask them why they are not in uniform and pass this information to me. We hope to have support from all parents / carers on this important matter.

We are hoping whole school events, such as assemblies, will start again soon and will keep you updated on this.

As always, if there is anything you would like to discuss with me, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Yours sincerely

Chris Rue
